~Schooling~

Meimei start going to Jiejie same kindy since June, i am happy that she didn't make much fuss attend to school.

She didn't even cry for the first 3 days, eventhough no one accompany her to kindy. Mummy expect her to be a independent gal and also mummy counting on Jiejie oso to take care of her. Well, on the forth day she start cried (may be she knows kindy is not her own territory not like my parents in law plc or at home).

Well, mummy must said that she was clever to give reasons when mummy asked her. She claimed that she 'become smaller' not big enough to attend school. Mummy was really amused by her reason. She used that reason for 2 days i remember. But mummy also very clever to tell her that no one can become smaller only bigger. And also telling her firmly that she need to attend to school.

The second week of schooling, may be she saw that the reason she give couldn't make mummy buy in...this round, she gave another reason. She cried & complained that the transporter's car is not comfortable! and for that she doesn't want to schooling. Yea, she is a clever gal, i must admit! clever to make up all those reasons! :P Well, mummy still send her to kindy without compromise.

Thank God, meimei eventually didn't complain anymore and didn't cry also in kindy. That was the 2nd week not even end. Mummy is really glad for that. Now, she is more than happy attend to kindy. Every morning, she is the one wake up earlier than her sis and asked kakak to prepare her to kindy.

For mummy, nothing is happier than seing meimei happily go to kindy w jiejie every morning. Well done, my meimei! my lil princess! Must praise jiejie oso, especially the first few days when meimei cried in kindy & keep looking for jiejie. Jiejie busy taking care of her until didn't eat much during her bfast time in school! she complained she only ate one bowl (usually 2-3 bowls) and get hungry even b4 the school end! Hahahaha!

Some photos had been taken and will be loaded soon...

~7th Wedding Anniversary~

Last Monday (26 May) was daddy mummy 7th Wedding Anniversary. Yea, 7th years! A lot of ppl says 7th years is the year when the 'itching' feeling start, not sure how true is it. But i definately agree that both parties need to make effort to keep the relationship 'hot'! 'hot' dates, 'hot' nites, 'hot' figths may be! :P

We have gone tru a lot of challenges, up & down in these 7th years. Hopefully our relationship will grow stronger and celebrate many more 7 yeeears together with our princesses! :-)

There was a funny moment this year, when i gave daddy his anniversary gift, mummy wish him 'Happy Itching!' yea, i really said so! And when daddy saw his present he laughed loudly and happily thanked mummy's permission for 'itching'! Wanna know why daddy said this? Look at the present i bought for him!

A lesson learned : Be more careful when choosing the 'important big days' gift! Hahahhaha!

Hooray! Kakak Robiah is STAYING!!!

Early of the year when mummy asked if Kakak Robiah wanna continue her 4th year of service with mummy. She was happily accepted the offer and immediately called back her hometown to announce that she will back for holiday in this middle of the year. Who knows at that same night, her mum called her back and asked her not to continue the contract. She wants her to stay back in hometown to take care of kids.

Kakak Robiah is a obedient daughter, immediately she told mummy she can not continue working here no matter how mummy convinced her. After a while, mummy was give up and already start to look for a new maid last Apr. I even asked around my relative & friends to help have a look on my new maid selection. Thx to the convenience of agent website, there are whole bunch of maids photos in that website.

Mummy had choose a new maid, called Agent to reserve and need to pay the fees in the same Saturday. Mummy also had booked Kakak's Robiah air ticket back to Indonesia. One night of 2 weeks ago, mummy asked Kakak if she needs to buy anything back to Indonesia. Ask her to think and plan first, later mummy will bring her to buy.

Forgot how to start the conversation she said the money she kept actually is not enough to use for a year. Mummy asked what is her plan when she out of money, if come back to Malaysia to work again, its not worth it, cos she may have pay cut again for half year for agent fees. Unless she really stay in home town and have no intention to come back. Later she think for a while, she told me she actually very happy working here and her money also not enough for his son education. As mummy saw her has the intention to stay, mummy offered her again, this time she asked if mummy had get a new maid. Well, she must thought mummy had oredi get a new maid.

Mummy ensure her if she wants to continue, mummy sure give her priority and lucky mummy yet to pay the fees, if not everything is fix. YES, this time she told mummy firmly that she wants to continue. Mummy is really delighted with her decision in fact daddy too. We both relieve that no need to get use with another new maid eventually.

Scare Kakak change her mind again, mummy immediately on that weekend bring her passport to the agent for permit renewal. :P Kakak is going back for holiday 5 weeks in July. I trust her personally she will come back but i scare her family or anything happen in her hometown will hold her back. Well, can not think too much too.... let it flow by itself.

But we are really glad that Kakak has decided to stay, especially my princesses! Cos all this while Kakak has become part of our family. The princesses even named her 'Ng Robiah' which share their surname.

Well, mummy have to pray hard that Kakak will come back as she promised after her holidays back in hometown. :-)

Separation of Room

Jiejie is 4 yrs old and Meimei is turning 3 this year. Daddy think that its should be a right time to move the princesses out from our bedroom. Yea, they slept with us since the day 1 they borned.

We told the princesses that we'll turn one of the room into their room. Well, the pricesses were excited, daddy mummy brought them to Ikea to buy some furniture. And of course we get the princesses involved choosing their furniture. Finally, we bought a cabinet, table and a wall lamp for them.

Initially, thinking of buying those kids bed for them too...but the sizes of the bed frame are too small. Wasted lar if only use for 3-4 year. So we decided to combine 3-4 single bedsheet on the floor. The princesses love their beds as they jump & turn like monkey.

When daddy get everythings ready, the princesses kinda excited. as the lil room become their own territory. We move some of their books, toys and etc up there too. And surprisingly the princesses can sleep peacefully for the first few days. But after their 'new room' excitement gone, they become reluctant to sleep in that room. They wanna stick to their daddy mummy again.

Since then, mummy everynite coaxed them to sleep and thinking to walk off the room after they go to zzzzz land....but everytime end up mummy also slept in that room with them and left daddy alone out there. And this has been last for 2weeks++ until one nite daddy complained that he never expect to move the princesses out eventually the mommy is moved out too. :-P

Finally, mummy arrange 'kakak' to sleep with them. This will reduce the princesses woke up in the midnite as sometimes they need blanket or need someone to guide them to toilet.

That's how my princesses sleep separately with us nowadays. They seem already accepted the fact that their daddy mummy are sleep in another room. Sometimes, they still will wake up and go to our room. But we can see the improvement as they no longer scream or cry in midnite looking for daddy mummy.

This is definately another milestone for our princesses, and mummy hope they can sleep without 'Kakak' sooooooon.....

Backdated - Jiejie 4th birthday

7 Mar 2008 was jiejie's 4th years old birthday, this year we didn't have any party. Mummy only bought a cake and brought to their Ah Mah's house to celebrate. Well, the 2 princesses enjoyed themselves very much also as their cousin brothers were around too. For kids, as long as got playmates even there is no party, they still can enjoy themselve.

Mummy not greedy, only wish that jiejie healthy and happy always. Oh yea, recently jiejie quite disobedient, may be she has grown up and has her own thinking. A lot of time we can't just giving instruction and ask her follow as she will always asks why? May be this is consider another milestone i guess. But overall she is still a good jiejie.

There was one nite, mummy was very tired and sleepy. But the 2 princesses like still had a lot of energy and didn't have the intention to sleep, eventhough mummy had switch off the light. After an hour, mummy really beh tahan and said whoever not stop talking and go to bed....mummy is going to slap their mouth. (mummy said only, hardly slap them la)

Immediately Jiejie like very adult tone, telling mummy this : Mummy have you heard that adult can not slap kid's mouth? i was like harr?! and laughing loud! and i asked her who told u this? she said Uncle XX, mummy told her that i'll call Uncle XX the next day. Immediately, she said mummy u can not call Uncle XX, Uncle XX very busy!! See, jiejie no longer listen to instruction all the time and she has her own thinking sometimes.

I must admit parenting is really not easy, something that we learn and grow together with our lovely little ones....for me, two!! :P

'Pumpkin Soup' recipie

Owe Hui Sia this recipie CENtury ago! :P REally Pai seh!

Well, its quite a simple recipie and fast to prepare too.

Ingredient :
pumpkin (cut in small pcs, easier & faster to cook)
button mushroom (i like to cut in small pcs too! :P)
potatoes & onion (cut into small cubes)
minced meat (chicken)
*1 tin of campbell 'chicken soup' (optional)

1) Prepare the above ingredient (except minced meat) and put into a pot, add some
water and boil.
2) Use fork to smash the pumpkin when its turn soft.
3) A bit salt to complete the taste.

*The tricks to make the soup tastier
a) Put more pumpkin & onion (these 2 combination makes the soup taste sweet
naturally)
b) Put the tin chicken soup, this will make the soup thicker.

That's it, easy to cook rite? Suppose to cook one time, and post the photos here...but quite busy recently and i hardly touch my kitchen's stove. Let me know, if anyone has tried this recipie.

Happy Cooking! Yum Yum! :-P

Stay or Leave?!

This morning use this statement for my msn message, some of my friends very 'sensitive' keep on asking me issit me to make the choice to leave my current company or what?

Sorry to make everyone so 'geng cheong'......'da da da' is my maid la! :P

Well, my maid contract will be end this July, i had a discussion with her over the last weekend. Offer her more than 20% increment and 1 1/2 mths holiday back to her hometown. She was happy and agreed to continue her 4th year of service with me. Yesterday morning, she happily called her hometown spread the news that she will back for holiday this July.

Who knows at nite by 10pm++, her mother called her......asked her not to continue working here, command her to go back and stay. I've asked her the reason, she said her mum din tell her, only asked her to go back. She looked confused and dunno what to do.

Well, in my heart i do hope she can continue working for me as my princesses are used to her. They treat her like their 2nd mummy at home. She dotes the princesses a lot too.... But i can understand if her mum asked her to be back as she has left her own country for 3 years leaving her son & hubby back in hometown. As a mother and as a daughter i understand and hope my family to be stay together with me all the time. Same as she & her mother too, i guess....

My worries, not sure if i should get a new maid after she leave later...should i give up my job and stay at home to take care my princesses. I just scare i can't get a better maid. Then, its my turn pula to keep thinking my current working situation. Sometimes, i feel that i really lack of 'goal' or vision in my life. I dun really know what i want in my life. I am ok to be SAHM and take care of my princesses, especially after read so much of 'sick' news recently. All the young gals no longer safe eventhough as young as below 5. This make me really worry and willing to give up my own job. In other hand, i oso worry my own pocket money if really choose to stay at home. Haiii...really headached to think all these....

I dun have a solution yet, and i need some times to think....well, pray hard, pray for my maid could stay for another year, so that i no need to headache now but another one year then... :P

2008 1st trip, 1st post.....

First of all, wish everyone 'Happy New You' in my this 1st post of 2008. ^.^

Together with my few friends went to HK last week. It was a fun and shopped a lot trip. The weather there is the lowest in these 10 winter years, 10 degree.

The most unforgetful experience was lined up for about 1.5 hours just to buy a 'pork chop pao' in one of the un-noticeable shop in Macau. And also we went for the fireworks on the new year eve for count down, to me...am quite disappointed with the fireworks, just too little la. Dunno is my expectation too high or the location we choose was not good for the view. :-(

Oh yea,one more thing was we quite frustrated to look for public toilets. It is ok if you are at those 5 star shopping malls, or else u will find difficulty to 'explore' for their public toilets. Even their most crowded 'LRT' stations oso dun provide this type of public facilities. Remember got one time, we quite tired to look for a toilet, so we ask the LRT customer service staff. Thank God, they were very generous & willing to borrow us their 'only for staff use' toilet. I even notice a lot of restaurant put up a notice outside said the restaurant toilet only for their diners. See, spaces are very limited and valuable in HK. Therefore, toilet oso very costly and valuable indirectly.

Talking about shopping, we few woman really can shop, half of our trip were shopping days. From day till night, nope, should say till mid-night. Each time reached back hotel and rest, my legs were like not belong to mine and once collapsed on the bed, can't stand at all. But so strange, the next morning the whole body feel energetic and can go for another full shopping day. What a miracle! As now is the winter time over there, most are the winter wear.....i only buy few for princesses and hubby. Can not buy much la, can not use here later. Only wait for going to Genting or Cameron. But they are really cheap...myself, lou gong, & princesses every each jacket not more than RM40.

Eventhough i went to HK before, but i almost forget most of the places and stuff over there. So this time, also like a lot of 'refreshing' memories. I must praise my hubby for taking good care of my princesses when i am not around. In fact, daddy said the princesses were more well behave when mummy is not around! :-P

Ok, photos to be uploaded later......
